Our FairTax efforts in New Hampshire constituted another huge success for our primary strategy. The FairTax bus -- which many of you have generously helped fund -- had a large presence, we had yet another FairTax question asked at a national debate, and the national media is really starting to warm up to our issue and momentum. Our time in New Hampshire further proves that the FairTax is now asserting itself as one of the key domestic policy issues of this years political process.
We decided to make a minor detour on the buss journey from New Hampshire to South Carolina briefly stopping in Washington, D.C. I am sure many of our friends on K Street and in Congress were thrilled to see our presence in their backyard. Not only did we make a brief stop at the Capitol, but we also decided to visit our friends at the Internal Revenue Service!

Once again, thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep the FairTax bus moving across America. It will be visiting South Carolina and Florida over the next week keep your eyes out for a visit to your state soon.

Fair Tax ping!
I love it!!
Maybe the IRS will get a bus also.
I hope they didn’t drink the water!
;-)
Yeah. And drive it off a cliff...

If I understand it correctly, you get to keep all of your paycheck and the IRS is disolved. As a byproduct of that, for those of us here that play Powerball and other lotteries, that means that if you win a $100,000,000.00 lottery, you keep all $100,000,000.00. That I like.
If they smart, they'll start sending our resumes for another career. Deprogramming them from their KGB mind control training might be a problem for future employers/
Remember also, that anything you buy secondhand, like an almost new car or a house that isn't brand new - NO TAX.
You get a prebate check to absorb the sales tax on your first 20K or so of spending - ie., living expenses, you get all that extra money in your paycheck, every last penny, and anything you buy sendondhand has no tax. It's up to US, the consumer, how much tax we pay by our buying habits. NO ONE else decides. And no reporting how much you make or where you spend it...where you make it, nada. The Socialists will howl as they see their power of control evaporating before their eyes. They wont even be able to control the majority of the liberal voters, many, many of who are going to, when they get into the privacy of the voting booth, vote for it... or demand it be passed.
They want that money in their pockets too.

Unless you buy the used car from Avis, then you owe the tax. That goes for anything bought used that was originally purchased tax free for business purposes.
LOL
I'll keep that in mind == I haven't bought to many cars from Avis - indeed none. But one never knows...GG
