Great to see an economic, growth based comparison of the candidates.

Club for Growth Fired Up for Fred, GOP Candidate Growth Guide
When I first saw "Club for Growth" I thought it was referring to Fred endorsing a new hair tonic. Now that my hopes are dashed I will not vote for him! ;O)

DANGER!! DANGER!! DANGER!!
The Club For Growth is one of the biggest advocates of open borders, cheap illegal labor, and outsourcing.
Fred Thompson better make sure that he does not have their policies cancel out his new stance on stopping illegal immigration.

Some more information on the kind of candidate that the Club for Growth likes...
t References Lamborn as softer on immigration than other candidates and says he supports guest worker programs. And keep that article in mind as you read on. You've got some schoolin' to finish. Nevertheless, what you are seeing, however, in that press report is the Club for Growth's hooks in Lamborn. Bought and paid for. If anyone thinks Lamborn is going to vote the way the people of the 5th Congressional District want on illegal immigration, they've got a hard lesson coming.
You also need to realize that the COLORADO Chapter of the Club for Growth was BARRED from taking a position on illegal immigration and it was specifically barred by the national chapter that has an agenda AGAINST THE INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE OF COLORADO.

I thought this was good to know about Fred: “and free trade is very good. On Social Security reform in particular, Thompson courageously supported personal accounts at a time when few politicians were willing to risk their necks taking on the third rail of American politics.”
I remember the debate on personal accounts, I supported them. It was courageous for him to do that then, and still support it now. Fred is a consistent conservative.

Wow. Good read. A noteable line in this report about
Romney:"His landmark steps in the healthcare arena also exhibit a mixture of desirable pro-free market efforts combined with a regrettable willingness to accept, if not embrace, a massive new regulatory regime.
Well said. The "willingness to accept, if not embrace" is the clincher. I really hope that Fred exhibits a willingness to reject the whole tendency toward "massive new regulatory regimes."

“I will personally posit however, that there is no better, more pro-growth, free market, electable, candidate out there than Fred Thompson.”
I guess that says it all.
