Bite me....since you must be more intelligent than 99% of the voters...the fact remains he looked stupid and as you can see by the article the voters he is wooing didn’t get it either.

Now unfortunately he will be portayed just as another southern good ole boy...which he is not. I stand by my comment he looked dumb and that is how the msm will play it like it or not.

That ‘fact’ doesn’t remain at all. The author of the piece clearly was ignorant and thought that Fred was wrong. All the author did was make himself look stupid. Just because that writer found someone who didn’t understand what Fred was getting at to interview, doesn’t mean that nobody understood it.

The media will portray Fred Thompson how they choose to and nothing Fred does can change that. Frankly, it doesn’t matter what they say about him. Especially when they make themselves look as stupid as the writer of that article did.

I completely disagree. It is the MSM that looked dumb as they did not even investigate a claim that has been born out to be true. In today's mass communication age their ignorance is easy to refute and doing so will give the Thompson campaign an opportunity to call into question the already low level of MSM credibility. They gave him the kind of opening that Michael Moore did when he challenged Fred.

Well, unfortunately, the reason traderrob6 is right and you are wrong is that Fred Thompson was right and you therefore are wrong. Fred had his facts right, and it’s just unfortunate that you didn’t know the facts. I believe the MSM did know the facts, but as usual, chose to ignore them so that they could attempt to portray Fred as a rube. They will try to do this about everything. That should never stop Fred from telling the truth which has a tendency to get out anyway. It already has. There are all sorts of articles springing up showing why Fred’s remarks were 100 percent accurate and that the media is showing its bias once again. It would be incumbent to find out the facts, because you obviously weren’t as smart as traderrob6 or Fred Thompson in doing so. Fred isn’t the southern rube, but if you don’t read up before mouthing off, you might be.
