The fact he talked of Hiroshima...nuke attack...lets see...UBL spoke of these locations...to me it’s possible terrorist attacks...NYC [capitalism] DC [democracy] Houston, TX [gas/oil/energy {he said Bush leader of Texas}] LA [hollywood culture] before the 15th of Sept. [HA...they thought that was the date for General Petreaus Report...when it was actually the deadline for his report...not too smart]

I was under the impression that 9/11 took a heck of a lot of spending and creativity to keep the economy from floundering and businesses from collapsing.
A deeper more focused, yet wider ranging body blow could slam our economy to a point where there wasn’t enough bench depth to stop the tailspin down.
A deep powerful ripple coupled with massive evacuation from damaged and contaminated areas with long term infrastructure damage and more contaminated communities downwind could create a refugee problem much worse than New Orleans.

I agree that it seems odd that we are not “mobilizing” our citizens, other than telling them to “be prepared.” In fact, this reminds me that I need to set something up within our Condo community - 73 homes.....but, I’m not sure I’ll get much reaction.....people are sooooo docile....we’re probably the MOST prepared here. (And our garage shows it....too many people here are soooo proud of their nearly empty garages.) My husband just says....”we’ve got food, water.....AND GUNS! So, we’ll always have food and water!” LOL.

And does the preparation include the stated position that the source of any nuclear material used against the US will be annihilated?
