What gets me is the number of people who would just accept conspiracy theories without doing the homework to make an intelligent decision.

Wait to spit on them until after you hit them in the face.
The problem with NOT debunking them, especially on blogs/websites and in group settings, is the others who see this disgusting trash repeated on site after site, and succumb to it.
It needs to be debunked, live and in person...each and every time it occurs.
In theory, yes, I agree. And they and their sheeple may not even be willing to converse regarding it, not that I would want to. But numbers are being swayed by the Mythers (I won't call them the other name, they tell only lies), and I have run into people at work and social and family functions who start to question, like a relative of mine who would rather consider the possibility of the conspiracy than deal with the notion that terrorists have targeted us. These people could use a dose of reality. And we need to be able to defend the truth.
