"Yet despite heat from all sides, Ron Paul mania has seized the Internet. Under no conditions other than the democracy of the Internet could Pauls various supporters meaningfully unite. The quick-thinking, fast-talking politician is endorsed by all shades of the political spectrum, albeit for different reasons.
"As of this past Thursday, Ron Paul mania officially entered IU domain."

I have to tell you... Any system that shows Giuliani not as a liberal, not as a moderate, but as a conservative, gives very flawed results indeed.

The only thing leftists have in common is the ability to make up one liners and make quippy posters beyond that.....vacuum!
And I forgot one other thing in common - the ability to make three words sentenances using only four letter words.

He’s right on the moderate line.
The one problem with OnTheIssue’s vote record is that if you have no votes on a subject, it sticks you in the middle. It goes by votes, not speeches. This may move Rudy a little Right as, being mayor, he wouldn’t have an expansive voting record. However, for someone who has been Washington establishment as long as Paul, there are enough votes there to have a pretty accurate rating.

Wow, talk about an odd change, just two weeks ago I posted Thompsons chart from that site and he was a listed as a right leaning moderate, not a right conservative.

OnTheIssues is very open about correcting any errors it finds. I know there was at least one I pointed out they corrected, where they had him listed as voting for HR1447 (I may have the bill # wrong, this is from memory.) when he actually voted against it. They pull information from a variety of sources, some of which isn’t always accurate (like showing a ‘support vote’ based on a procedural vote and not final vote for a bill.) There was another case I pointed out to them where they had Thompson voting against an amendment (to stop welfare for illegals), but they did’t add that he supported/co-sponsored a competing amendment that didn’t have all the exceptions of the original.
They are very open to corrections for any candidate as long as you provide them some good proof, like links to bills and voting records.

I’ll admit I sent a few corrections.. Anyone, no matter what candidate they support should check to make sure it is correct as OnTheIssues is the primary place most people look for voting records..

So, Ron Paul is now officially a cult leader? I've always thought RoPaul looked a little bit like Marshall Applewhite....

That's odd, because I saw FDT's "World's Smallest Political Quiz" results a couple of months ago, and they were right where the graphic posted by mnehrling said he is at.

I do recall the chart that CJ Wolf displayed. I saw at least two incorrect listings for Thompson that I sent (as, I’m sure have others.) The problem with vote records are they aren’t as cut and dry as people like to think. You could be docked as opposing X because you voted against it, but you may have voted against it because you were co-sponsoring a competing amendment that was even tougher.. (just one example.)
