China Automobile presents its new 'CEO' on the first press day at the International Auto Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Germany, on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. German car maker BMW on Monday, Sept. 10, 2007 said it has filed a lawsuit to halt the distribution of the Chinese-made 'CEO' sport utility vehicle because it claims that the car looks conspicuous similar to its model X5. China Automobile CAD declined the accusations of plagiarism and announced the car's presentation at the IAA as planned. The 62th IAA car show opens its doors to the public from Sept. 15 through Sept. 23, 2007.
I bet it doesn’t run as good as a Beemer ...
In fact, it looks more like a Gen2 Honda CR-V.
It is the back that looks similar. I believe there was a thread on FR sometime back ....the back really looks like that of an X5, but the front looks like (as you said) a CRV.
These ChiCom cr*p cars actually liquify in crash tests. Worst cars ever tested. (I kid you not!)
