I'll make this short and to the point. The murder of Shannon Christian and Christopher Newsome in Knoxville were horrific, racially motivated murders. They were grusomely tortured before they were murdered. Newsome's penis was cut off, raped and he was set on fire. They tortured and raped Christian for four days, cut off one of her breasts and filled her mouth with chemicals. The two victims were white. The five assailants were black. It hasn't been classified as a hate crime or even a significant crime. There was wasn't a peep from the media.
Fast forward to today where the torture of a young black woman by five whites has set off a media firestorm. The torture was disgusting but not life-threatening. She has all of her bodyparts. Most likely, she will completely recover.
I just want to know, why the double-standard? Now seems the perfect time to renew the questions about the double murder/torture/rape of Shannon and Christopher.
I think we owe them that.
Both crimes are horrid no matter what the MSM reports.
If those creeps who held her captive had not had the visit from the Sherriff’s Dept that gal would of been dead.
I refuse to compare the two cases as they both were done by sick rabid souless animals.
I haven’t heard of this crime, but with the circumstances
being what they are I’m not suprised.
Last time I was in Knoxville I broke down in a seedy
neighborhood. A Knoxville cop came by and stayed
with me for over an hour until the tow truck came.
He said he there is an out of control element in that
town.
You should be proud of yourself...you have covered it more profusely than the MSM.

Agree, the only reason the Knoxville crime ever was found out was through the local media and concerned citizens getting it onto the internet.
But the whole point here is one is considered a hate crime but the other isn’t.

My own theory about the non-reporting of this story is that black hate crimes are a threat to the Democratic Party. If it is realized that whites are increasingly victims and blacks are shown that they are not the only victims, then the Democratic Party loses-big. Right now there is a lot of anger among the black community for the African-American women that was tortured.
You can’t blame the black community en-masse for believing that they are the ones that are always victimized because that is all they’re shown by the media.
You almost can’t blame many white liberals for feeling guilty even today because they are led to believe that whites have always been the victimizers and still are.
If you truly want racial harmony and parity, everyone had better work on getting the truth out.
