No, no, this is all wrong. ~Everyone~ knows Thompson entered the race late to purposefully avoid having to debate the 8 other candidates. Besides that he has a young trophy wife and is the oldest looking of the front runner republican candidates.

Didn’t I just seem some newspaper columnist or DNC piece or something talking about how Fred Thompson’s campaign has bombed and he’s not getting his message out? That was written by Baghdad Bob. He writes most of the anti-fred stories, and even posts here at FR under a variety of screen names about how horrible Fred's campaign is going.

Poor ol Duncan Hunter is in last place behind Ron Paul with 1%. I’m sure when he drops out he’ll do the right thing and endorse Fred. Huckabee (4%), Brownback (2%) and Hunter (1%) are all scrambling over crumbs now that FRed's in it to win it. Six or eight weeks from now (at the latest) if none of them can get above 5% anywhere it will be time for their supporters to ask themselves what the right thing to do for the country is.
