Today’s (Wednesday) “Perfect Day” installment centered around what Muslim terrorists would hope to accomplish by conducting Beslan style attacks on several US schools simultaneously. The goal, according to the panel on Beck’s show today, would be to create such horrific events at schools that Americans would respond with bloody reprisals against Muslims in America, thereby bringing great unity to the Muslim world, a unity that would greatly aid the extremists in their goals of a new caliphate united against the non-Muslims.

Not sure how much sense that makes, but considering the convoluted manner in which Muslims often seem to think, who can say for sure. Beck said, if such a “Perfect Day” scenario occurred, then Americans must refrain from reacting as the Muslim terrorists hope they will to deny them their victory.

Lots of peculiar aspects to that scenario.

I can tell you our school district is taking it serious.

Our township police had a mock hostage test a few days before we began our school year. BTW, they did not pretend that the hostage takers were right wing Christian terrorist.

Today they came to our school and checked all the doors making sure they where locked from the inside. Actually it caused quite a stir in my classroom because they wondered aloud if there was something going on

We also have some things we do inside the school, but like they say "loose lips sink ships"

Next week we are having a intruder alert drill, again I am not going to mentioned our procedures.

If you ever get the chance watch the documentary on Belsan. I recommend kids not watch it. It is pretty intense, and would scare the dickens out of them, it did me.

Glenn Beck’s been in talk radio for years .. I listened to him every morning when I was in Tampa up to 3 yrs ago .. he was on locally then and got called up to national syndication.

He’s done simply awesome and lyrical remembrances for different historic events .. usually very patriotic and spiritual themes. He’s a master at them.
