Twenty-two Freeper members and their families braved the fires and unhealthy air to attend our 6th Annual Picnic at Woodward Park.
This year we were treated to music by Soldiersprayingmom and her husband, Jim. We look forward to having them entertain us again next year.

As usual, the food was excellent. JkPhoto's tri-tip was perfect.

The kids discovered a new use for the cuddle bags given to them by backtothestreets.
Everyone that attended this year was given one of these bags. Thank you, backtothestreets.

There’s something vaguely familiar about that picture. I can’t quite place my finger on it.

Of course, I would love to add you to my ping list.
If you ever get back to Fresno, make sure to contact us.
If you are making plans for next year, mark your calendar for the Saturday after Labor Day. It would be great if you could join us.

That tri-tip looks delicious. It was! I only wish I had room for more.
This was our first freeper picnic and my wife won wind chimes made by a freeper. ;-)

I really like this poster. Having it up at the picnic gave me a chance to talk to my boys about the cost of freedom.

I’m hoping that JKphoto has a picture of your wife with the windchimes.
We really enjoyed meeting you and your family. Hope you mark your calendar for next year.

I didn’t get any pictures Saturday! :(
I’ve been posting pictures taken by MamaBear and JKPhoto.
Picnics are a wonderful way to get acquainted with other FReepers. Hope you will be able to make it to Fresno next year.

We all thought about you on Saturday.
How are you doing? I thought the bad air might have kept you away. It wasn’t very bad at the park and FRiday night we had a slight breeze that helped to clear the air.

We definitely want to make it next year.

We hated to see you leave but knew that you did not belong out there. Hope you are feeling much better. We’ll see you in October.
I love that picture of the kids. They all had a great time; I had a tough time getting my two in the car. I thought I would get to take all four of them home. :)
