Pontificating Columnist George Will, who holds himself out to be an expert on most things, has decreed that Fred Thompson's candidacy is unnecessary.

I am getting really fed up with Will’s Ivy League twang.

Nice, quick spanking Will. And all true.

"In his newest hitpiece (now three hitpiece columns against Fred)"
"Will is critical of Fred but never of his pal and clear choice for President, Rudy Giuliani"
As Fred continues to relate to the American public, those like the 'wordsmith' Will are starting to panic... I can think of very few subjects that Will has written THREE columns about.
He is now at the point that he STRENGTHENS my resolve!

We’ve been fed up with Will’s swill for a long time now. Any “Conservative” with such long-term employment guarantees with ABC is highly suspect, anyhow.

I am finding George Will to be increasingly unnecessary.

I remember a Doonesbury cartoon, from a long, long time ago, back when they were still funny. There was a White House Press Conference and Ronald Reagan was trying to explain supply-side economics. The reporters and Mark were hostile and dismissive, as always. Then, in the last panel, Reagan starts saying, "If I take an orange, see, and cut it in half...", and Mark yells out
"Somebody stop him! He's going over our heads directly to the People!" George Will seems to have the same objection today. There is no need to parse Fred Thompson, as one always had to do with President Clinton, so we have less need of a ever-so-clever wordsmith to do the job. There is no need to translate Fred Thompson into English, as is regrettably so often true of President Bush, so we don't need our educated betters to tell us what it all means. Fred Thompson just speaks directly to the people, and there is no need for George Will.
Fred Thompson is going to put George Will out of a job, and George Will doesn't like that much.

No, he’s beating your guy like Ginger Baker’s snare drum, and you just can’t stand it, just like Boy George can’t stand it that Fred is going to take RINO Rudy down.
You and George Shill can cry on each other’s shoulders.

George Open Borders Will...
For a year George Will and others have been telling conservatives they need to compromise and nominate an “electable” liberal, now all of the sudden Fred Thompson isn’t conservative enough...
