I hope that is what it boils down to, FRED/HUNTER 2008 , but, I would be just has happy to see Hunter as SEC of DEF.

I’m of the belief that a VP candidate can’t help you but they can hurt you. Duncan Hunter won’t hurt Fred. He doesn’t seem to have any skeletons in his closet. He is solid with the conservative base. He is not prone to making sound bites that come back to bite him in the azz(see Ron Paul for those).
In addition Hunter is from California, not that I believe we have a prayer in hell of carrying CA but it sure couldn’t hurt.
