WASHINGTON - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Tuesday that a mandate requiring every American to purchase health insurance was the only way to achieve universal health care but she rejected the notion of punitive measures to force individuals into the health care system.

"At this point, we don't have anything punitive that we have proposed," the presidential candidate said in an interview with The Associated Press. "We're providing incentives and tax credits which we think will be very attractive to the vast majority of Americans."

She said she could envision a day when "you have to show proof to your employer that you're insured as a part of the job interview — like when your kid goes to school and has to show proof of vaccination," but said such details would be worked out through negotiations with Congress.

Hillary wants to be the author of a Social Security-Style system that INSURES Democrat Domination for DECADES to come.

EVERY election, from here on out, will be FULL of Kind-Hearted Democrats promising MORE, and Better coverage, in return for MORE of your income.

Meanwhile, those evil republicans will be trying to KILL children and the elderly if they DARE to speak out against it.

“We can’t expect the American People to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small doses of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.”

What percentage of Americans can see through a game show filled with unverifiable polling data put on by a liberal network purporting to represent the thinking of Americans?

It sounds like a clear case of propaganda game to me. A good way to innocuously convince people of what others around them feel about things while pretending to be a game with no agenda.

It seems a little too convenient for the network to be telling people a majority of Americans support the Communizing of our medical industry before it becomes a big issue for the democrats in this up coming election.

I do not believe a majority of Americans will want a socialized medical system once they understand why they all lag behind our lousy system.

There is a reason why even with our insane malpractice lottery and FDA foot-dragging and CYA, we remain the leading edge of world medicine. There is just not enough motivation to risk change in a socialized system.

Question right now on Drew Carey’s Power of 10 game show:

What percentage of Americans would be willing to pay higher taxes for the government to provide universal healthcare?

Answer: 51%.

That would be the 51% of Americans that pay less than 4% of the total taxes paid .. they're willingness reflects the fact that it doesn't cost them squat, it's another entitlement they can guzzle down from big brother's teat.

This is her Achilles heel. She can’t help it. She will keep giving and giving if nominated by the Dems. I will bet the Dems get nervous in the next few months when they realize their candidates have no clothes.

At this point . . .(we have only just begun, of course) - not that anyone asked, of course. . .

Hillary's Gov. plan is mandatory. Making 'healthcare' a Gov priority; of and in itself, makes this plan punitive. But there is surely a price to pay as well, for those who imagine they have an option of 'resistance'. . .

Got a hint yesterday; for those who decline to cooperate.

Taser stock should go way up. . .

“At this point, we don’t have anything punitive that we have proposed”

Any person who calls themselves a conservative should get chills reading that line. Who are “We?” What are the possibilities for “punitive?” Quite frankly, anyone who isn’t repulsed/frightened by this statement, I probably don’t want voting in our Republic.

I was listening to AirAmerica on the drive in and even the moonbats are not crazy about the plan, though for different reasons than us. Their concerns were her plan is funded only by rolling back the Bush tax cuts, which is not enough, and they felt it rewards the insurers and Doctors by increasing their business by 45 million people. They want to punish the insurers and doctors by imposing price caps and tougher regulations.

OK, someone is going to ask, why AirAmerica on the drive in? At 4:00 its that or infomercials. and a good laugh wakes me up.

When are we going to admit that we're too stupid to make our own decisions?! It is time we let someone smarter decide where we should work, where we go to school, and our medical options...it's time for Hillary...it's time for socialism. After all, socialism is a roaring success wherever it has been used. </extreme sarcasm>

Why does she always yell when she speaks?

The Heinous Harridan is perfecting her Adolf Hitler style of shrieking for all of those mass meetings of the sheeple she is going to have when she takes over as dictator.

Every penny of everyone’s health benefits should be fully taxed as income. (Cut rates to make it neutral, or course.)

The massive subsidy is what has caused health care inflation in the first place.
