The 65 additional aircraft doesn't include 15 aircraft that Thai Airways has already ordered. At the end of 2017, the airline would have 117 planes, said Apinan.
The new aircraft will include eight jumbo Boeing 747-8 planes, and a mix of Boeing 737-900, Boeing 787-9, Airbus A350, and Airbus A321 aircraft.
Thai Airways said in a statement it plans to seek 16 long-range aircraft with capacity of 300-500 seats, 29 medium-range aircraft with 250-350 seat capacity and another 20 aircraft with capacity of 150-250 seats,

Thai Airways has great service. Imagine twice the flight attendants, who are half the weight, and provide friendly service.

I love Royal Thai Orchid service....the food is great too.
Flying in America is an utter drag by comparison .
My favorite flight ever... Thai was about two weeks into their London/Bangkok service with a stopover in New Delhi. There was hardly anybody on the 747, about 20 passengers and 30 Thai flight attendants, one prettier than the next. I was sixteen years old.
I have never before or since wanted a flight to go on longer than it did, but they could have flown that bird for days, and I would not have cared.

I agree with your post, although the attendants may be one third the weight and much higher on the one to ten scale of attractiveness. Great service.
Still, I’d always opt for Singapore A/L at a similar price. Always enjoy Thai though.
Malaysian Air is also very, very good on guy scales.
reasonable composition, good colour, but lacks depth, and the focus is confusing. Is the subject of the photo the engine, the engineer, or something else in frame that I missed?
I had more critical comments, but realized that the pain meds plus vodka were probably skewing my perceptions. I offered only sincere observations by my mark, but we may differ on that subjective estimation. Dang, now I’m starting to babble.
Good night and God bless, all.
Isn’t thailand still under a military coup?
That seems to be the form of governance that suits Thailand best - the old prime was corrupt so the military took him of his seat. They did that earlier and restored ‘democracy’ not to long after. No worries to them - I guess.
THAILAND??
I flew to Taipei on EVA Air about a year and a half ago. The 747-400 was a friggin’ cattle car. But those stewardess were stunningly gorgeous.
You’ve got that right.

I haven’t flown on EVA but I’ve flown on Singapore, KAL, Malaysian and a few other Asian A/L.
When you compare any of them with A/L in the U.S. or Europe you have to wonder why any males continue to subscribe to Westerngirl.com - bunch of cows + really lousy service (in all respects).
