Ann Coulter herself is an attorney. But she doesn't like 'em much. Especially the ones who rip off doctors and send health care costs soaring out of reach. Another good slam at a Democrat constituency group - as usual, Ann's on a roll. Enjoy!

"Many health care economists," the Times editorialized, say the partisan wrangling over health care masks a bigger problem: "the relatively high salaries paid to American doctors."That has to be one of the finest written examples of class envy I have seen in a long time. And no acknowledgment of what it takes to become a doctor, no siree. Marx would be so proud of that cheesy editorial writer -- Karl, not Groucho.

$200,000 is a great salary — until you realize that $100,000 goes to pay the malpractice insurance. (Much higher if you actually deliver babies instead of, say, abort them.)

The incompetent and sub-par will always prey on the excellent. Read Atlas Shrugged. While I'm not overwhelmed by Ayn Rand, the predators and parasites that suck the life out of Rearden Steel are symbols of people like trial lawyers and government bureaucrats. Our world would be much better off if we started decorating lampposts with their swinging corpses.

Seems to me the only people who don’t like Ann Coulter are the usual suspects and their sympathizers.
What’s not to like abiut defending doctors (who make our lives better) and slamming trial lawyers (who make greed their only banner)?

The ultimate Democrat constituent would be a public schoolteacher on welfare who needed an abortion and was suing her doctor. Oh, wow. That is just so perfect. And absolutely Ann Coulter!

My uncle who was an anesthesiologist (sp) paid $100,000 annually for malpractice insurance 25 years ago. I don’t know if that was average at the time because he was in a burn center and his patience were high risk and were put under more than often than “normal.”

Consider the physician with many many years of education, many many long hours of residency, crushing malpractice insurance rates and $200,000 a year.
Then consider the Movie industry...Brainless twits making worthless films based on cartoons or old TV shows making millions each year...and they don’t even have to be High school graduates.

Ann is so correct on this. Doctors do earn their money (the majority of them)...and should be paid well based on their training and sacrifice.
I am sure the Dems and liberal GOP who hate Coulter will deride her. Ann speaks straight up w no bull.

I may have to see a doctor about this. I should probably get on the waiting list now in case Hillary gets elected. Ann: I am available 24/7. Don't worry about a waiting list!

Many people who are lawyers agree with the statements in this Coulter article. There are several Freeper lawyers who have, like me, resigned long ago from the American Bar Association, because the ABA has become a union just like the National "Edukashun" Association.
Both the ABA and the NEA are interested almost entirely in protecting their members from discipline, and getting them more money. Neither has the slightest interest in the social costs that the least competent (or ethical) of their members are inflicting on American society. And that is exactly the point of this article.

Well stated. Pay doctors less than your average auto mechanic or plumber and you will get what you pay for. Car still rattles? Tough. Pay more to another repair guy to make it better. No multimillion law suits there.
