Was it your sense that she’s every bit the BW*tchy . . . bitter, hostile, controlling, power mongering, obsessively tyrannical, etc. creature that so many who have worked around her insist she is?

Well, I met her in a semi-social setting (business first, then an extended grip and grin session during Willie's first term) but she came across as very cold, very condescending, superiority complex, etc., so I can easily understand why the people who have worked closely with her would say those things.
