Here’s what else Jim Wallace, Executive Director of the Gun Owners’ Action League, had to say about Romney and his massive increases in fees related to gun ownership:
Gun owners said they felt unfairly targeted by Romney’s proposed increases. Democratic lawmakers applauded Romney’s proposal _ ultimately raising the cost of gun licenses to $100.
“We certainly shouldn’t be paying anything for our Second Amendment right, because it’s a civil right,” said Jim Wallace, executive director of the Gun Owner’s Action League.
Wallace credited Romney for extending a gun permit from four to six years, but said the higher fees have contributed to a dramatic decline in the number of licensed gun owners in Massachusetts.

All the gun rights laws enacted in the last thirty years came from the NRA. Concealed weapons laws, end of the Assault Weapons Ban, Castle Doctrine, Manufacturer’s Protection and even the Katrina victim’s lawsuits.
Where was your gun group and what have they ever done?
You sit on the sidelines and do nothing but complain the NRA doesn’t do enough?
Duh! The webpage was copywrited in 2003...not the press release.
