I don't know that I'd use the word "onerous" but there is nothing substantive to recommend Fred. The bandwagoneering is obnoxious. I don't trust the people around him.
I've been keeping a list on my FR homepage and it needs updating.
Dick Morris, nor anyone else, need slam Fred Thompson. Fred can do more damage all by himself. The same is true of the other candidates, but Fred seems particulary good at making comical gaffes. He is not sharp. His supporters are the best, however. If they can come up with some good solid policy positions and then actually carry them out while Fred acts as a figurehead, we might be okay with a Thompson presidency.
