A team of lawyers, led by Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz, are seeking to have Ahmadinejad arrested upon his arrival in New York.

Is this Scrappleface?

Why doesn’t he just take out a full page ad in the NYT? I’m sure they’d give him a good rate....

This POS being even allowed on American soil is simply one more reason to get the USA out of the United Nations.

Besides, the UN is totally demonic!

Liberals seem to love Fascists, as did Charles ( Lindy Hop) Lindgergh, and Joseph ( Rum Runner, father of JFK and Ted)Kennedy as ambassador to Britain. Kenney's love for the Nazis resulted in his recall from the US embassy in Britain prior to WWII. Now make no mistake about it. The Islamic Fascists of Iran fall four square withing the definition of historical fascism, which was an international movement that swept Europe in the 1930s. There were fascist groups in every European nation, in the USA and in Canada. In Romania, there was a religio-fascist movement which was very similar to Islamofascism. What did it take for the liberals to wake up to what the Nazis actually were? Well, thier mass invasion of Poland and the concenta=ration camps for the Jewish people finally made US liberals see the light, but it was a hard row to hoe for a while. In the post WWII , the liberals again fell in love with totalitarians, from Russia. Communism became cool as an ideology, a redefinition of man as an economic, materialist animal, who would gain happiness in society by having exactly what everyone else has in exchange for freedom. McCarthy put paid to them, as Anne Coulter points out, and who regards McCarthy as misrepresented by revisionist liberal historians, and a hero for America. Yes, liberals like fascists and totalitarians. They have a twist in their logic that makes Utopianism a more important necessity than the values of a Free Republic. It does not matter what fate is in store for freedom, the idea of control for the sake of Utopia is fascinating to Liberals , and they laud a loss of freedom in order to disempower a non existant "aristocracy" which they also like to redefine daily. Libs are presently the worst enemy of Western civilization as we know it. The behavior of Columbia is a signal post to America, Enough is enough. This man and his policies are responsible for the death of thousands of Iraqis and hundreds of our soldiers fighting in Iraq. And now we know he is responsible for Korean supplied nuclear material found in Syria, supplied by North Korea.

For Columbia to ignore these facts is an astounding kick to the face of all Americans who would remain free; free from a Liberal defined, elitist controlled Utopia, free from Islamofascism. Columbia's academic ivory tower elitism is utterly shocking. It is treasonous, and unjustified on any free speech grounds, for freedom of speech does not cover invective, and demoralizing propaganda supported by the touts of Columbia's supposed academic elite. They are not elite, they are academic trash.

Its time to put the Liberals away for good in November of 2008. They lick the hand of our mortal enemy.

"If Hitler were in the United States and wanted a platform from which to speak, he would have plenty of platforms to speak in the United States," Columbia's Coatsworth said in an interview with Fox News. "If he were willing to engage in debate and a discussion to be challenged by Columbia students and faculty, we would certainly invite him."

Sure... Makes perfect sense that Columbia U would want to foster debate about whether it's a good idea to wipe out 6 million Jews.

Iran Hitler Ahmadinejad At Columbia - Free Speech Or Incitement?

Opportunity: propaganda moment playing to an international audience, but mostly, Iran internal consumption.

Is it true that he was one of the students who kidnapped and held the hostages in 1979? If he is indeed allowed to come to the U.S. this week, it could well be his last taste of freedom. Elements of his country will be reduced to rubble in the not distant future. Good things are a comin’ for the freedom loving people of Iran. After all, we are a weak nation, George Bush is a “backyard barbeque cowboy” and Dick Cheney is just a “Fat Cat Republican” lining the pockets of his rich oil buddies.......Let’s see who has the last laugh. The strike by Israel is just a sneak preview of things to come.

“Will Ahmadinejad’s Columbia speech and question and answer be made available to the citizens of Iran. Will the citizens of Iran witness thousands of New Yorkers telling Ahmadinejad to go home?

No way. Iran will edit out and censor the negative and use the positive to incite the Iran and Islamic public. Does Columbia care?”

As long as he is here I think it’s great that he will go to Columbia and take questions from students. It’s the only time he will have been challenged like that in his political career. As for censoring the feed back to Iran, big deal. China would do the same thing. Surely the Soviets did too. So would most other countries lacking a free press. The main thing is that he gets to see what freedom is and will have to explain himself.

Columbia invites as speakers people who reflect its values. It’s their call.

“As one who studied at Columbia University, I am both embarrassed and ashamed of that fact today.”

I have a question to those who call themselves Jews. You see, the Christians and the Conservatives within the US have always backed the state of Israel and we generally tend to view favorably the Jewish faith which we see closely tied to our own. Yet why does the majority of Jews vote Democrat? Why are there so many little Barbara Streisand’s running around backing a party of Clinton, Carter........ It seems a little paradoxical to me.

President George W Bush backed New York authorities in blocking a Ground Zero tour, saying, "I can understand why they would not want somebody running a country who is the state sponsor of terror down at the site."

Then order your secretary of state to tell AhmaNutJob that he may not be anywhere but the airport, his hotel and the UN building and that he must go directly from one to the other.

The man is not a citizen, nor even really a legal visitor in the normal sense. We do not even have diplomatic relations with the country he is the a leader of. (Remember the Ayatollah is the real leader). We have no obligation to let the man speak or appear in our country.

I don’t have any problem at all with the invitation - provided that Columbia abolishes its speech code and invites David Duke to present the next lecture. The university president just said it’s all about hearing different ideas didn’t he?

This is beyond the pale. I thought Brown was radically left, but Columbia takes the cake for this one with Ahmadjadine and Hitler.

The wicked little Haman runt speaking at Columbia is just plain and simple incitment, like yelling “fire” in a crowded theater when there isn’t a fire. That any US institution would even think of having such trash come to speak, that the US would even let such trash into the country to speak and the U-bloddy-effing-N, is beyond all standards of decency. May this nasty little runt meet the same fate as the biblical Haman.
