"Asian", huh? I wonder how many of them are "yoots"?
Asian=Britspeak for “Middle Eastern”
Oriental=Britspeak for “Asian”
Asian women? Is that code for people of Middle-Eastern descent?
Ain’t Islam grand?
Muslim men usually have a spare wife or two.
I remember when I first moved to India. I read the paper each day and was shocked by the number of young women who died in accidents with exploding kerosene stoves. Then one of my friends explained that the “accident” was really a typical bride burning, where the young Bride is dispatched by the Mother in Law if she is not working out.
A couple of years later, ending this practice became a great crusade. A quite successful crusade, as it turned out. The first step, though, was the newspapers printing the false stories about the “accidental” explosions. After a while, and enough stories, it became impossible to deny the reality of what was going on.
when my husband went to japan, he heard it was common to stop the trains because of “human body accidents” apparently they have brought it to the UK also.
How many of these women jumped, and how many were pushed?
Si, See Post #3.
I’d be hard-pressed to draw for another person the line that’s crossed when death becomes preferable to life...but must they kill themselves in such a way as to burden others to clean up the remnants of strawberry jam spread all over the tracks? What, are pills too expensive under the NIH regime?
I thought it meant Indian or Pakastani
Asian women. Well maybe they’re just jealous over their lighter-skinned sisters? Maybe they’re depressed over their jobs? Maybe they are having a bad hair day? I can’t imagine what would possess Asian women to lie down on train tracks. Surely it has nothing to do with their husbands. Surely it has nothing to do with their entirely voluntary participation in local faith activities. These must be severely defective women.
Well I lay my head on the railroad track
Waiting on the Double E
But the train don’t run by here no more
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Oh these boys won’t let me be
Lord have mercy on me
Woe woe is me
Well I met a man out in Hollywood
Now I ain’t naming names
Well he really worked me over good
Just like Jesse James
Yes he really worked me over good
He was a credit to his gender
Put me through some changes Lord
Sort of like a Waring blender
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Oh these boys won’t let me be
Lord have mercy on me
Woe woe is me
Well I met a boy in the Vieux Carres
Down in Yokohama
He picked me up and he threw me down
He said “Please don’t hurt me Mama”
Poor poor pitiful me
Poor poor pitiful me
Oh these boys won’t let me be
Lord have mercy on me
Woe woe is me
Poor poor poor me
Poor poor pitiful me
70,000 population of Southall. 55% are Pakistani/Indian. Also virtually an "Asian community". First immigrants from those areas said to have come in 1950. I lived there in 1953, but it was only on the tail end of my stay, that I noticed the new influx.
Huge industries were close by, EMI/RCA Victor at nearby Hayes. Nestles Chocolate and Fairey Aviation. It was an English working class town. Happy go lucky days, as manufacturing industry was booming. Hordes of bicyclists, lots of double decker buses. Cinema and nice pubs.
I am told by people never to go back. Ordinary English, while not abused, are just made to feel unwanted.
Multi-culture=ethnic cleansing.
Don’t you mean thrown?
Instead of these “asian” wives - read MUSLIM, committing suicide to escape abuse from their Muslim husbands — I’d rather see them kill the abuser....
Self defense is a valid defense in the U.K., isn’t it?
What is wrong with these people?
I think so. Or maybe it's just the required Brit euphemism for "muslim." Anyway, this is bound to be keeping the islamic population down at least a little and every little bit helps.
