That's within three weeks, apparently.

Well, you can't accuse Gingrich of not being specific enough, but I wonder if Chuck Hagel realizes Bloomberg isn't a even a RINO any more.

Newt said this a week ago. He knows it won’t happen.

Ron Paul _promised_ he’d raise $50 million. I’m not sure who is more delusional.

Already stumbling Fred Thompson?

The Leftist Media is delusional.

The Fred Thompson steamroll is powering forward, and is unstoppable right up to the White House steps and through the front doors.

The ScuMedia are desperately looking for 2008’s Ross Perot to help split the GOP vote.

Ron Paul. Newt. Pat Buchanan. ANYBODY!

What an ego Gingrich has.

The “Fred stumbling” B.S. is the media trying its best to stop a steam roller.

I hope he gets his money and runs and shakes all these first tier clowns out of their loafers. (I have no trust for any of those dudes.)

We need a good hurricane to get the show on the road and force these whatever to show their real hand. After that, we can then get down to real business.

Sorry Newt but you’ve been kissing Hill’s @$$ since she announced and have given her odds of 80-20. You debate John (Viet-Nam) Kerry about global warming and agree with everything he says. In short, take a hike!!

I must have missed the overwhelming groundswell of support for Newt among conservatives. < / sacrasm >

Oddly enough, I like Newt. I read some of his books before he was elected to Congress, and he makes a great deal of sense.

But he is not presidential material. Even among that crowd, his ego is too big. Or, more accurately, Newt is not good enough at hiding his ego. They all have giant egos or they wouldn't be running.

Newt, Newt, Newt. Newt is a lot like Winston Churchill. He is a visionary, a shrewd political schemer, a man willing to stake out a position and not only defend it, but able to stiffen the resolve of wavering friends, and even win political opponents to it, a man who has a vision for not just winning the next election, but for preserving our civilization ... and a blowhard so egotistical that all the other politicians notice, a man who is just as willing to stand up for his vainity as he is for principle, and man who can be oblivious to reality.

But for Adolf Hitler, Winston Churchill would be remembered as his father's son. An immensely talented politician, who got further than Lord Randolf, but whose monumental ego, and knack for making enemies, destroyed his political career, and left him a bitter, back bench crank. Hitler saved Churchill by giving him something to rail about that was actually worthy of his melodramatics.

So far, thank God, Newt doesn't have a Hitler to create a crisis that so shakes the Republic that we turn to him for leadership. I hope he never gets one, but Ahmadinejad, and Harry Reid, are both doing their best.
