New Haven rolls out mobile ID card unit

New Haven (WTNH) _ Thousands of people have lined up to get New Haven's new city ID card, and starting today residents no longer need to wait in line at city hall. The program is coming to you.

A new mobile ID card unit will head out into neighborhoods this morning. It's first stop is at the Second Star of Jacob Church on Chapel Street.

Two months ago the city launched the ID card program. The cards are supposed to give people an identity. People can use them at the library, for parking and to open bank accounts.

In order to get a card New Haven residents had to hand in applications and have a picture taken. Today the city will rev-up the engines on a new mobile unit that will visit neighborhoods around the city and offer the program to those who may not be able to get down to city hall.

The program has gained national attention because people against ID cards say it's a way for illegal immigrants to fly under the governments radar and still benefit even though they're not American citizens.

Since the ID cards became a reality more than 3,000 applications have been taken. The program started July 24th.

So BICE should simply go to court, get a warrant for the information in every one of those cards, and use that as probable cause to arrest the card holder as a suspected illegal alien.

Then congratulate the "city fathers" of New Haven for making their job easier.

and they have to give what proof of citizenship and place of residence???

None, you say?

You don't mean that this is just a ID factory to maintain the ability of the illegals, double voters and probably dead and dogs = to continue to vote?

Every Freeper in the area should show up to get a “new” identity for themselves, maybe 2 or 3. May come in handy in a future Hillary administration, or on election day in 08.

If these cards are available to anybody, what use are they?

Supposedly, as the story goes, since one needs some type of picture ID to obtain a library card, or open a bank account, these city-issued ID's will allow those who hold them to do so within the city limits.

And never to be used for things like getting a drivers license or registering to vote? Are you sure?

Of course they’ll use it for those reasons. However, the Dims in City Hall will deny that’s the purpose.

ACCEPTABLE FORMS FOR PROOF OF IDENTITY:

    • Birth Certificate; (for kids ok; for adults this plus photo id)
    • Consular ID Card;
OR TWO of the following:
    • National identification card (must have photo, name, address, date of birth and expiration date;
    • Foreign Driver’s license (current - NOT expired);
    • Voter registration card
    • Military identification card (U.S. or foreign)
    • Visa (current)
    • ITIN card (must be accompanied by an id with a photograph)

At least one identification card must have a photo under either category A or B.

So, someone could show a foreign driver’s license and a foreign military ID card (which is probably unverifiable) and a phone bill and a cable TV bill...and get an ID card?

Instant citizenship!

They did’t mention the clause on the application where you sell your soul to the democrat party.

You have to guarantee you’ll vote democrat in every election for your life span + 5 years. If you fail to do so, Rosa DeLauro will personally track you down and hit you with her ugly stick.

There’s a lot more to this than just going to the library.

There’s a Mexico link:

And even a possible link between the mayor and a bank:

If anyone wants to do something about this, publicly ask the mayor about the Mexico link and put it up on Youtube.
