MORGAN CITY, La. (AP) — A member of the Louisiana Democratic Party's central committee has been arrested by federal agents who accused him of harboring aliens, his defense attorney said Wednesday.

Lenny Dartez, the husband of state Rep. Carla Dartez, a Democrat representing the Morgan City area, was taken into custody Tuesday at his business, said Dartez's attorney, Mike Skinner. Dartez employs labor crews in the area, Skinner said.

Dartez was named in a federal complaint issued by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and taken to a federal magistrate in Lafayette, who released him on his own recognizance, Skinner said. been filed. Skinner said he could not discuss the case further.

"He insists he is innocent and looks forward to being vindicated if charges are brought," Skinner said.

Carla Dartez, who is seeking her third term from the House's 51st district, has drawn three opponents: Republican Joe Harrison, Democrat Estelle Mahoney and Democrat Nick Morris.

This is going on all over our country. My son-in-law was fired from his inside carpentry job, making $21.00 an hour. They replaced him with a Mexican that supposedly had papers for $14.00.

He worked for them for 2 1/2 years.

They are fighting his unemployment claim saying he was disrespectful.

Part of Daddy Bush's "New World Order", followed by Junior Bush's devil's deal with Fox of Mexico and Martin of Canada for the "North American Union" monstrosity. All this without the consent of the American people, whose whole lives will be adversely impacted if we don't fight back.

There's no other explanation for the insanity that has been happening in America. It's my guess that the ones going along with this, from both parties, have been promised reimbursement or high office in the "New" world. They are trying to sell America out, without conscience.
