Campaign Life Coalition to Shortly Post Ontario Election Candidate Survey Results on Internet

Candidate information gathered so far is now available by calling CLC

TORONTO, September 24, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Campaign Life Coalition, Ontario will very shortly be posting the results of its 2007 Ontario election candidate survey and other election material on its website.

CLC is dedicated to assisting pro-life Ontario citizens to make an informed vote on election day Oct. 10 or at the now open advance polls.  Until the candidate information is available on the CLC website, the same information can be obtained by calling the pro-life organization at 1-800-730-5358 or 416-204-9749 .

For the past several months CLC and its volunteers across the province have been gathering responses to the eight questions in its 2007 Questionnaire http://campaignlifecoalition.com/elections/provincial/Ontario/2007/ and other information on the candidates' positions.

CLC will also post articles on the parties and their leaders and articles explaining its reasons for encouraging pro-life, pro-family voters to vote NO on the proportional representation question that will be on a separate ballot given to voters this time.

The advance polls will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. from now until Oct. 4. After that, the hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until election day, when voting hours -- extended this year -- are again 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The provincial political pro-life organization stresses that all the main parties themselves and the fledgling Green Party are pro-abortion and anti-family and all have pro-abortion and anti-family leaders. However, CLC notes there are some pro-life candidates running for the main parties who should be supported in order to begin restoring pro-life influence within those parties. The only pro-life and pro-family party is the Family Coalition Party.

CLC is strongly encouraging pro-life voters to place the life issues as their highest voting priority and to vote only for a pro-life candidate, where one is known to be running, regardless of their party affiliation.
