You mean that FDT is not a Bircher??? Shocking!!! And one more reason to vote for him. Don’t look now but the CFR and a bunch of international bankers are hiding under your bed.

I have to disagree. The best pizza is actually a place in Carrollton, TX called Mr. Jim’s Pizza, second is Pizza King in Longview, TX.

Isn’t funny how every candidate and party claims they are the sold holder of the ‘freedom loving’ or ‘staying true to the Constitution’? I bet if you asked Nancy Pelosi, she would say she is the most Freedom-Minded, Constitutionally Principled person in DC.

If you mention Eternal Vigilance negatively, why wouldn't you show him the common courtesy of pinging him?
NCSteve has been baiting Eternal Vigilance because EV is well known to care passionately about Scripture and to strive to live with Scripture as his guide in life. If I were being baited like that, I would have no problem ignoring the bait.
Whatever anyone thinks that Scripture means, paleoPaulie is a despicably antiwar antiAmerican. Further he is a fake, phony and fraud in numerous respects cited too often to bother with yet again.
Eternal Vigilance is choosing a candidate this year who is not my own but his choice is quite understandable and even commendable given his premises and those of his candidate. Not even Mrs. Paul could justify any patriot voting for the moonbat that she married, even if she is into the shrimpin' bidness, trolleys, buses and nursing scholarships as well as fish sticks.

E-7-25221: Your ideological ally John Kerry threw his medals over the fence. You should do the same. Not sad to see you go. Next stop pretending to conservatism while undermining troops at war. George McGovern was a bomber pilot in WWII, bombing Trieste. He was another antiwar leftist and his military service did not sanitize his antiAmericanism either. If you think you Paulistinians are being badly treaded now, just wait until we crush you in the primaries and caucuses. You are entitled to your opinion but you are NOT entitled to be respected in that opinion any more than was McGovern or Murtha or Harkin or any of the other members of the tiny regrettable platoon of antiwar antiAmerican veterans.
Being friendly to the memory of La Rand, the serial adulterer, pro-abort and atheist pseudo-philosophical queen does not help one's reputation for conservatism either.
As to your attack on JimRob, backatcha.

With profound respect which you have earned, Mr. Jim’s Pizza must be an awful lot better than his opinions. Even so, Sally is now making pizzas for God. His widow and children are carrying on for all the things that matter in terms of pizza.

I've posted Paul's hypocrisy on dozens of issues over and over, with the typical Kerry esque responses of how we just don't understand his nuanced approach. People making excuses for his
wink, wink, nudge, nudge backdoor earmarks for things like the NAU/NAFTA Superhighway, Wild Shrimp, and a Federal Child Tracking Database, is has lost his humor.
Their excuses for Ron Paul voting against putting the military on the border because it also stops drug smugglers (because Paul is against the WOD) is crazy.
What is the point any more? We know Paul is all talk and is all about symbolism over substance, but that won't stop his cult of sheep from pasting 20 page paragraphs from Lew Rockwell's blog on how wonderful Paul is.
I never thought I would see the day when we had people on the Right spending as much time explaining what a Republican candidate 'really meant' by what he said or how he voted as much as the dems did for John Kerry.

I am a conservative and have not been a libertarian since I grew up and did not run for re-election as an LP state officer in my former home state. If that bothers you, fine and I am glad it does. Given the absent substance of your post, why should I worry about your opinions? Of course, you might give FDT a bad name but he is a big boy and will overcome it.
Note that you have not disagreed with the truth I posted.

Nowdays, we have we have to support troops who wear thousands of dollars of equipment and ride in million plus dollar IFVs.And $6,000 screwdrivers, $30,000 toilet seats, etc. Seriously you don't believe those vehicles cost that much do you? Like anything else the government gets its hands on, it's a grift. I wouldn't trust a government contractor to tell the truth about actual costs if their life depended on it.
Even if this equipment cost this much (which it doesn't), as the programs on the domestic front are shut down and the federal government returns to its very limited stasis, monies collected from taxes on the states, federal gas tax, etc. would pay for the Armed Forces.

“Obviously the market could regulate health better than the government, and yes this solution would work: you have failed to show how it couldnt, with all due respect, friend!”
Obviously? Really? You’ve presented nothing to substantiate the argument that no health service is better than a public health service. You try and show how that would work, ‘with all due respect’ of course.

NCSteve has been baiting Eternal Vigilance because EV is well known to care passionately about Scripture and to strive to live with Scripture as his guide in life. I haven't been baiting anyone. I don't know anything about Eternal Vigilance, other than his/her apparent political naiveté, so your supposition as to my motives for anything are pure conjecture on your part and more than a little bit of an example of baiting in themselves.
You may now safely resume minding your own business.

I will safely resume my contempt for the phoniness that nowadays passes for libertarianism. If you want to bash others for not agreeing with your support of Dr. Demento, then expect to receive incoming fire from any actual conservative here. If you want your arguments to be private, FReepmail your receptive opponents (not me because I routinely ignore uninvited FReepmail and want my arguments to be public only). Don’t bother trying to play Scriptural roulette with me even in public because I refuse to play.

And you ~Never~ really rebuted my arguments, with all due respect, Duke!
I find it very reasonable to say that in a market of freedom of information, and people’s reputations’ on the line, then they would gain more business by being healthy, unhealthy businesses would be shut down pretty quickly (because after even the “hint” of unsanitation in the perception of the general public) I would in a real free-market this would pretty much dry up the customer base; they would go out of business! We won’t ‘need’ the governmnet to ‘protect’ us. The “invisable” hand will do it for us; you compromisers need to re-read your adam smith and then Milton Friedman.
