Yes, of course. Spaten is a very good beer - all the Munich breweries are in fact very good. I probably wouldn’t taste a difference between Spaten and Augustiner. I doubt the average Munich tastes a difference either. Probably it’s just that one beer has to be the not so good. Pricewise there is no real difference between all the beers.

We start serving food from 3 pm, that is probably the best time, in case we get swamped and run out of food. There will be also some smoked Ukrainian kobasky and kapusta. FReepers can get head start at 2 pm, when we can talk and plot how to counter Hitlery's communism.

We just took over the resort, fixing up some major problems, but the banquet hall and kitchen are operational, including bar.

We hope to make it favorite place for patriotic Americans, especially those who were oppressed in their home countries and found the new home on this side of Atlantic.

The township and Sullivan county is Republican country, our mayor is very helpful. We are brewing (working) on having own microbrewery at the site. Great potential, super location, FReepers at work!
Please join us!

Another great beer is Czech “Velkopopovicky Kozel” on tap.
In some stores it is available bottled. Beats Pilsner Urquell.

If I don’t end up repairing the floor in my Bathroom this weekend, I’ll head up. It’s about 40 miles, I do that to work ;)

I just came across this post tonight (10/7)...can’t believe I missed the fun! We definitely would have liked to have joined in the Freeper festivities (we’re in Northwest NJ). Hubby says I let him down! LOL

Hope it was a good time!

It was very nice. Weather was just gorgeous, close to 200 people enjoyed the great food, beer inside and on the deck.
Restoration continues, aiming for grand opening in the spring. Hope to host few FRevents.
