You didn’t hear much about it, but last Tuesday President Bush used the words of the United Nations’ own founding documents to damn that corrupt and ineffectual institution – while re-asserting his own global emphasis on democracy, free markets and the defeat of tyranny and terrorism.
It wasn’t hard to read between the lines and ascertain Bush’s ultimate point: The UN has failed to lead, so the United States is going to have to do it.
In a 21-minute address to the General Assembly, Bush essentially told the UN that it does some good things, but it is failing through corruption and neglect to tend to its primary mission, which is to ensure that people throughout the world have political freedom and an opportunity to better their own lives.

That was a good article..and why I am still a huge supporter of this President. The UN needs to be dissolved, not one more dime of my ttax dollars for this.
I think he’s mad that the UN has brought into reality his fathers vision of the NWO, and President Bush is now seeing his “One America” vision of Canada/US/Mexico being stalled as well, so in his Mind, the United States must forgo the UN and bring about the NWO on it’s own.

This is so antithetical to their belief system that America must be made subordinate to the UN.

Doesn’t Bush Sr’s vision differ from Bush Jr’s vision of a NWO?
The former counseled the latter not to invade Iraq, for example.
I really don’t care if they dissolve it, just get that nest of vipers off our soil!
He should’ve surrounded the UN with troops first, told them that they had failed in their mission and that they would be escorted off the premisis and out of the country!
