I’m dating a girl who’s incredibly well educated and bright. She professes to be “independent” but is liberal to the core. She HATES the President. The problem trying to reason with her about politics is that she concedes with absolute candor that liberals lie and that the end does justify their means. You’d think that admission would cut your way in an argument (to me it’s an enormous indictment of the Left). When its conceded at the outset and viewed as okay, it’s nearly impossible to get any traction.
Definitely find someone else to date!
Anyone that justifies lying the reach an end will eventually do the same to you.
Doesn't sound all that bright to me...Dump her and find someone who has some common sense.

I've encountered this before myself by a former workmate.
After he admitted that the end justifies the means I said that it therefore must be alright for the right to do the same. No surpise he argued that the left could do it because they were right on the issues. Needless to say I rteplied that it depends on who is defining the right or wrong way on any given issue. Before they could reply I quickly added that if you find it alright to outright lie to further an agenda then the liar(s) could not be trusted to say the truth anytime. I repeated that ad nauseum until they cut the conversation short.
She can’t be that bright being so ignorant.
The Ends always justify the Means for Commies. They still think that the Purges of Russia, China and Cambodia were justified to make their communist utopia. They would do the same thing to us if they had the opportunity.
