The Imam at Ask the Imam have been saying this for years. They also ridicule the notion of celebrating someone’s birthday.
It is an incompatible lifestyle with the entirety of Western Civilization. We should not surrender our long standing non-violent traditions because the invaders want us to submit to their ways.

The Web site also has a question-and-answer section, which advises that Muslims can join political parties only if they are "able to exert some influence on the direction of the party so that it will take an Islamic direction." So much for the separation of mosque and state. Speaking of which a foreign government funds the construction of mosques to the tune of millions PER structure.
