I’ve recovered enough to resolve to stay off all these “presidential hopeful” threads for Republicans. I don’t want to be part of the “divide and conquer” strategy of the left. They are rejoicing because conservatives can’t seem to agree on who they want to run for president.
I won’t give the lefties the satisfaction anymore of seeing me argue with other FReepers about who is best—FT, Mitt, Hunter, Huckabee or who are the other guys???
I will try my darnedest to keep this resolution.

I have reasons...
I always believed in no excuses...show me results.
I find that people often dont find what they dont want to find and find what they want.

If you think that would have anything to do with why we would even consider voting for a candidate,then you are misguided. Personally I have never seen any of Freds movies or TV shows. I am not that shallow or stupid to buy into such a dumb idea.
I liked Hunter but I have to tell you, I have found his supporters juggler biters, and that gives me pause. I think Hunter is a man of class and deserves better.
Disingenuous debate is really boring and a very big waste of time. In all of that winded post you did not put out one valid “reason” to vote for Hunter...but went on to degrade another.....Now that was really a waste of time.
I like Duncan and Fred.
I think Fred has the best chance to beat Bubba the second.
I can vote for Fred without holding my nose, unlike Rudy or Mitt.

My wife is an Evangelical and she will not be voting for the party of death (abortion or assisted suicide), special rights for anti-heterosexuals, and rendering unto Caesar more than is Caesar’s. The stakes in this battle are too high. Sometimes we have to hold our noses and vote for someone who is flawed. A lot of people in Michigan stayed home in November ‘06 or voted for the Democrats in order to punish Republicans and we just got socked with a huge tax increase.
