Michelle Malkin: MoveOn bullies critics
Washington Times ^ | October 6, 2007 | Michelle Malkin

MoveOn.org, the left-wing extremists who bashed the commander of American forces in Iraq as a traitor, should get out of the political kitchen. The George Soros-funded hitmen can't stand even a bit of heat from mom-and-pop retailers who tried selling T-shirts and mugs on the Internet critical of the "General Betray Us" smear ads against Gen. David Petraeus.

I heard from one of the independent T-shirt sellers targeted by MoveOn.org last week. The seller is a lifelong Democrat and member of the military. Incensed by the attack on Gen. Petraeus, the retailer opened up a shop at online store CafePress. The homemade designs at the PoliStew Cafe (www.cafepress.com/polistew) were stark and simple: "Move Away from Move On" "MoveOn.org NoFriend to Dems." "Gen. Petraeus has done more for this country than MoveOn.org."

For daring to raise a voice and raise some money for the troops (all proceeds from the sale of his items go to the National Military Family Association charity), this T-shirt seller earned the wrath of MoveOn.org's lawyers. MoveOn.org chief operating officer Carrie Olson brought down the sledgehammer.

DON'T YOU DARE QUESTION THEIR PATRIOTISM!!!!

If the losing Democrat nominee were to leave the country after his/her defeat next November and take up arms alongisde Al Queda, and were videotaped strapping on a suicide vest while spouting "Death to America and all who live in it, including gays, women, minorities, children and people whose names begin with the letter 'B'," the MoveOn crowd would be praising her/him as being "TRULY patriotic and not just waving the flag but starting a conversation in this country about what we're doing in Bush's war."

Edward Padgett, a Los Angeles blogger who spread the word about MoveOn's attempt to silence critics, laments: "For several years I have found MoveOn.org to be an inspirational antiwar group, but the past few weeks they have been an embarrassment to all Americans with their attacks upon President Bush and Gen. Petraeus. I subscribe to the MoveOn newsletter, and even considered hosting an antiwar rally in San Dimas, but now I want no part of this radical group and will remove my name from their newsletter subscription..

A "seminar" Sore-head? Hee hee!

Too funny, I hope the man realizes that moveon is the same group that his “beloved” Democrat Party is throwing him overboard to pander too, seems that Hillary et al do not give half a darn what this man thinks, they nod and take cash from moveon.

Let that be a lesson to conservative Democrats and Independents, moveon and the Dems are not your guys.

Seems Rush is fighting the battle with very little help or support from elected Republicans who are cowering in the closet shaking their boots off.

Moveon is as patriotic as the Nazis were. They both use hatred of others as their foundation, believe in big government and selective justice and love their country.

Yep, they’re patriotic. They just believe in evil ways far, far, far, far more than I do.

MoveOn is a bunch of lefties who got together over the Lewinsky thing, hoping we could all just “move on” from a president lying under oath, just get over it. That’s really all I need to know about them.

Free Speech is for Everyone*

*- not valid in all states. Not valid to people who are in talk radio, forward hate speech (excluding Iranian dictators), question the left wing norms or question Hillary Clinton
