II Corinthians 13:14
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the love of God,
and the communion of the Holy Ghost,
be with you all.
We exalt You, the Maker of Heaven and Earth, for who can deny Your greatness? As we behold Your stunning artistry in these crisp autumn days, we cherish Your hand in all the beauty of the earth. Thank You, Lord, for eyes to behold Your magnificence, for ears to hear Your voice, and for hearts to know You.
Bless our President who seeks to please You and honor You with his words and actions. May Your eyes be upon him and Your ears be attentive to his voice. We are confident that You lead him and deliver him from all his troubles. May he continue to seek You, Father, so that he lacks no good thing. Keep his eyes lifted up to You, that he may continue to hope in Your unfailing love.
Father, we know that Your plans stand firm forever and the purposes of Your heart remain through all generations. Use our dedicated military men and women for Your glory, that they may set free the oppressed and uphold governments that provide freedom for all rather than just for the few. Keep each troop in Your wonderful care and make them strong for all battles---both physical and spiritual.
Holy Lord, we witness daily the assault upon Your teachings by the loud and boisterous voices of those who do not know You. Place in our hearts the boldness that we need to share Your love, for the very lives are at stake of those who despise You. Be our guide forever, Lord, that we may never stray from the straight and narrow path that You have set before us. Make us instruments of Your peace. In the Name of our Savior, who died that we may live. Amen.
Bless our President who seeks to please You and honor You with his words and actions.
Yes, give him the strength and grace that he needs in order to walk in a manner worthy of You, desiring to please You in all things.
Amen (and btw, down here in Nashville, no crisp Autumn here. It’s 90 degrees and the only thing dead on the trees are from the drought — it’s July in October !) :-P

READ: Nehemiah 4:1-14
Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome. Nehemiah 4:14
While the outcome of the Second World War was still uncertain, Franklin Roosevelt died and Harry Truman was sworn in as the next president of the United States. The following day, President Truman told reporters, "When they told me yesterday what had happened, I felt like the moon, the stars, and all the planets had fallen on me." Certainly Truman faced crushing responsibilities.
Nehemiah was a great leader who also faced overwhelming burdens. Accompanied by Jewish exiles who had returned from Babylon, Nehemiah was given the task of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Amid terrible opposition, he refused to be intimidated by the jeers and threats of the enemy. Instead, the man of God organized a dual strategy of construction and military defensebathing their efforts in prayer: "We made our prayer to our God, and because of them we set a watch against them day and night" (Neh. 4:9). Nehemiah addressed the ongoing threats the workers faced by getting their focus back on God: "Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome" (v.14).
Are you facing crushing responsibilities today? Praying for Gods help and putting together a practical plan can give you strength to complete the task.
Beautiful heartfelt prayer.
Amen
Bless the LORD, O House of Israel: Bless the LORD, O House of Aaron:
Bless the LORD, O House of Levi: ye that Fear the LORD, Bless the LORD.
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, Which Dwelleth at Jerusalem.
Praise ye the LORD! (Ps.135:19,20,21)
For the Father himself loveth you,
because ye have loved me,
and have believed that I came out from God. - John 17: 27
Thank you for praying, fieldmarshaldj. Stay cool.

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!
Refrain
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
At the sign of triumph Satans host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hells foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.
Refrain
Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
Refrain
What the saints established that I hold for true.
What the saints believèd, that I believe too.
Long as earth endureth, men the faith will hold,
Kingdoms, nations, empires, in destruction rolled.
Refrain
Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never gainst that church prevail;
We have Christs own promise, and that cannot fail.
Refrain
Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.
Refrain

And may it be, Most Merciful Father, that the enemies of the Cross will come under conviction by the Power of the Holy Spirit, that they would join the redeemed. May the Sweet Fragrance of Revival sweep across our beloved nation, else we perish. For you raise up and bring down the nations of the world, such is Your righteous judgment.
Even now, O Lord, as we continually ask Your blessing upon our beloved President, we are praying that You will bring forth that one who will next assume authority over us. Stay the hand of the enemy, for he lusts continually after power. Let not this most high office fall into the hands of one who will use this power against the citizenry, but may he be God-fearing and one of Your own. Divinely direct us to choose wisely and well.
Hear our prayer, O Lord ...
Hear our prayer, O Lord ...
Incline thine ear to us
And grant us thy peace. Amen ...
Amen to your caring prayer, Faith. God bless George Bush and God bless America.
Such an important prayer as this must be the cry of our hearts in the days and months to come. We can ill afford to be led by one whose heart does not belong to the Lord. Thank you, Pegita, for your beautiful prayer and for reminding us of the stirring words in that wonderful, age-old hymn.
Thank you for joining us in this prayer effort tonight. May the Lord bless and keep you.
Amen to your powerful prayer and to all prayers tonight.
Thank You, Heavenly Father, for blessings, for sustaining our president, protecting our nation, and keeping our soldiers. Fill our hearts with Your love, Lord, that we may return it to You while exhibiting mercy toward those around us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
