I guess it'll be up to poor ole Rush to call out this new Democrat Lie!

Rush covered it well. He acknowledged that it was a FReeper who discovered the Truth on this matter...

Yes, Freeper Icwhatudo deserves the praise for the great post on the Phony Impoverished Family.

Newsbusters covered it with a link to Icwhatudo's post.

That makes back to back Freeper mentions. We have Freeper caller on the air last Friday.

Refering back to POST #169;

From the Baltimore Sun article:

Graeme and his 9-year-old sister, Gemma, were passengers in the family SUV in December 2004 when it hit a patch of black ice and slammed into a tree.

Car = SUV, but why get technical when wanting a sympathy donation. Not that I don’t have sympathy for the children.

Anyone hear who was driving the car at the
time of the accident, and if the driver of
was/was not insured?

Wicked Dims ... no depths to which they won’t
sink.

The Dems had to know this was coming. It’s so stupid I don’t know if I believe it.

That's what I thought, but then again, we are talking about liberals.

They shouldn’t have taken the picture in their custom-built, granite countertop kitchen. It makes them less believable.

Here's the response I got back from the author of this article:

Baltimore family joins health care showdown

"Hi Mr. Berejan, I have seen the blogs that bash the Frost family. I can see why some people would make a big deal about the family's home and the fact that their children attend a private school. However, the fact still remains that the family can't afford medical insurance. Also, it's possible to send a child to a private school on a scholarship and, as you know, the value of realestate in this state has skyrocketed. If you look at state realestate records you'll find that the family bought their home for much less than $400,000. Thanks for writing, Lynn Anderson "

and

"I am not going to engage in a debate with you. I don't think they pay for their children's private school tuition. So no, they can't take that money and use it to pay for health insurance."

Guess it would have been too much work for a "reporter" to gather a few facts like "DO you pay for your childrens private school"? Or " Could you borrow against your equity"? Or could ONE of you find a job with some healthcare benefits"?

So the reporterette is saying they are already on welfare, picking some other taxpayer's pocket to the tune of $40k per year for school, so they still need healthcare welfare!?!

They could buy a used car and pay for health insurance with the money now going for SUV payments. At least some of it.

I was thinking the same thing. $45K in income. Two kids, each of which cost $20K to go to school. How does the family pay the mortgage on 5K a year?

Duh, Ms. Anderson. Doesn't matter what they paid for it when they bought it (which appears to have been seventeen years ago, according to those very public records Ms. Anderson cites***).

Houses have appreciated A LOT since 1990, even with the real estate bubble bust.

The house is worth something like $360,000 now (as zillow.com would indicate). Did Ms. Anderson ask if the Frosts had ever looked into a home equity loan, rather than soaking the taxpayer?

Then there's the private fund set up for the Frost's childrens' medical expenses (see post 220 above).

Did Ms. Anderson look into that? (Nah, why do I even bother asking.)

***Also the 104 S Collington address does not appear to be the Frost's "principal residence," according to the same public record.

They probably offer dependent health insurance but the employee chooses not to pay. Why pay for dependent health insurance when the state will offer it to you for FREE!

"The thought of me and other Freepers paying for these bastards’ health care when they are forking over $40k per year for a private school really makes me sick. This is yet another example of the many evils of socialism."

Well, we can at least look at the bright side. Now that these Democrat lying scum have been outed, I'm sure it perked up someones ears at the IRS, who will no doubt be looking as far back as the law allows into their income tax declarations and deductions.

I suspect by the time it's all over, that kid will be back in a coma, not from any car accident, but from the beating he'll get from his "poor, hardworking pappy" for opening his mouth.

Kudo's to the Freeper who exposed these lying frauds. It does do a lot of damage to claims made by idiots like Micheal Moore, who holds up people like these as "victims" of America's health care system, and to those who support these claims and try force these lies onto the general public, like Opra.

I wonder if she will apologize on her show for not investigating these lying fraudsters better before mentioning their "plight" on shows where she gives a forum to the health care con-artist ring leaders like Micheal Moore.

I highly doubt it.
