A powerful explosion rocked Tacoma Saturday afternoon, sending four injured workers to the hospital, shooting a fireball hundreds of feet into the sky, shutting down highways and banning aircraft for a five-mile radius.

The series of events leading to the explosion began as a tanker truck driver was loading propane into one of two stationary tanks at Atlas Castings & Technology. Two smaller explosions occurred, followed by a massive one that blew the truck apart, with the axel flying hundreds of feet in the air before

“4 injured as foundry explosion rocks Tacoma”
By Tricia Duryee and Benjamin J. Romano
Seattle Times staff reporters
PREV 1 of 7 NEXT

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “The events started when a delivery truck, loaded with 8,000 gallons of fuel, exploded at the foundry, causing a nearby propane to catch fire. The propane tank did not explode. The foundry has two propane tanks on site; one holds 20,000 gallons, the other 14,000. At the time of the explosion, Kessler said, it was estimated that the tanks were both about half full.

A fire still burning at the foundry is from the propane tank that is venting gas.”

Was it more than a quadruple axel. If so, the truck should get a 6.0.

I think it wobbled a bit on the landing. Judges gave it a 5.7.

That video is better watched on mute. The guys who taped that are laughing and cheering when the big explosion happens! They sound like a bunch of drunk frat boys watching wrestling. Creepy.

Prayers for the injured.

Not if you’re in Legacy Media.
When a story doesn’t call for ABS (Agenda-Bias-Spin),
you focus on your basic incompetence.
