A top-secret report by the U.S. intelligence services says several North Korean scientists were injured in Israel's strike in Syria last month, top Washington Post columnist Jim Hoagland reported in the paper Sunday.

Some two weeks ago, British newspaper The Sunday Times reported that diplomats in North Korea and China believed a number of North Koreans had been killed in the strike, based on reports reaching Asian governments about conversations between Chinese and North Korean officials.

several North Korean scientists were injured in Israel's strike in Syria last month . . .

If this report is true, the only regretable thing about it is that they weren't killed.

The NK scientists collateral damage is icing on the cake. Maybe those prostitutes of plutonium will think twice about helping Iran or any other mideast tyrannical regime.

>>>....Bush's administration had been involved in the preparations for the strike since the summer. According to ABC, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had objected to the plan, pushing the intended date from mid-July to September. <<<

I find that a bit hard to believe since the trigger for the attack appears to be taking out nuclear material which arrived by North Korean ship only days before Israel hit the bunker it was off-loaded to at Dayr az-Zwar.

Something was on that ship that made action imperative and urgent.

And what was North Korea’s explanation for having scientists in Syria? I missed it...

The mid-July date would have the ship at sea. As I mentioned on another thread, I wonder why they didn’t just sink it in a deep part of the ocean. No fallout, no witnesses, etc. Put the discussion led to waiting until the Israelis could gather proof, the actual materials, etc. The way the quote is written it makes it sound like Rice objected to the attack. Perhaps she just objected to the earlier plans?

Too bad, too sad...my “I could give a damn” button is stuck on who gives a damn about a sorry bunch of rag heads and their slimy enablers. It is way past time to hit a bunch of slimes with every thing we have.

This is why they (DPRK) had the very unusual, angry KCNA news dispatch of two weeks ago, angrily denouncing the strike on Syria, which of course was also an Israeli attack on North Korea.

Let's look at what is being claimed:

"A top-secret report by the U.S. intelligence services says several North Korean scientists were injured in Israel's strike in Syria last month, top Washington Post columnist Jim Hoagland reported in the paper Sunday.
...
Over the weekend, the American television network ABC reported that President George W. Bush's administration had been involved in the preparations for the strike since the summer. According to ABC, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had objected to the plan, pushing the intended date from mid-July to September."

So we're supposed to believe that a "top secret report" was leaked between September 6 and today...as well as believe that the freaking STATE DEPARTMENT kept plans for the strike secret from mid-July until September?!

Doesn't pass the smell test. The State Dept can't keep secrets. heck, that's why this "top secret report" was leaked this weekend!
