I have a hunch that Filner has never visited Iraq. But had he done so, his sorry tail would have been protected by Blackwater employees. Their presence in Iraq has freed thousands of military to do the job they are doing — a reason the Democrats despise them as much as they do the military.

They realize they can’t stop the Surge (which is immensely successful. They’re going after Blackwater because THEY have been successful in protecting dignitaries (haven’t lost one).Hence take out Blackwater and assassinations will rise..
