...they are mostly carrying 250 kilogram, laser-guided bombs. Although such bombs were relatively small...

You won't think it's small if it's coming down near you, I can guarantee you that.

...Nicolas Sarkozy, is taking a greater interest in the war in Afghanistan, and in improving relations with the United States and its closest allies.

Bet that witch that runs the AJC editorial page is kicking her dog right now.

Oh, c’mon! The French can’t start doing the right thing now; I’m too accustomed to hating the French.

I saw a doc on the German Tiger tank. One of the German tankers said a direct hit from a 500lb bomb would split a Tiger in two.

There is nothing wrong with the French Military. It was the former French Government that was the problem.

In WWII many American and Brit air crewmen owes his life to the French underground. Many of those Frenchmen paid for this with their life. The French are not cowards but their former government was craven and corrupt.

It's so much fun, in fact, that an attack destroying Iran's nuclear facilities and the Revolutionary Guard command/control centers has been delayed, so that France (under new management) can get in on the fun too.

From another thread, but interesting to speculate about here.
