NASHVILLE, Tenn. - There's new information Tuesday morning about a deadly weekend crash on a Nashville interstate ramp.
Police now said an immigration hold has been placed on Lorenzo Hernandez Santiz. Investigators now think he's an illegal immigrant from Mexico.
Police charged Santiz, who also goes by the name of Jorge Hernandez, with vehicular homicide.
Police said Santiz was speeding, and driving drunk when he flipped his SUV early Sunday morning - killing his passenger.
Police also said Santiz has been arrested three times in the past year. His charges include unlawful gun possession, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, escape, driving without a license and criminal impersonation.
The Tennessean has him listed as JOSE Hernandez..

In related news: ICE reports the roundup of 1300 violent gang leaders and members across the country. Out of the 1300, 1000 were illegal.
As I’ve mentioned several times, I have strong suspicions my neighbors are illegals and outlined the numerous ways in which they have not only violated (flagrantly) local codes ordinances (which could implicate their bosses, the former White occupant of the house — whose girlfriend STILL owns the house) and that the police won’t do a damn thing about it... I was thinking what I saw in the past month with one of them slowly backing down the driveway into a busy street while hoisting a cold one as he drove past me. I couldn’t confirm it was liquor, but it sure looked like a beer can to me.
Being an illegal means more than just not having permission to be in this country, but also means a flagrant disregard for the laws of any sort and public decency. Anyone I’ve spoken to about this has cited similar problems. These people wouldn’t even be in the United States if their citizen employers looking for slave labor stopped employing them — and more to the point, that every one of them needs to be brought up on stiff federal charges for using illegal labor. We don’t have to deport 40 million illegals, because if we start putting their bosses away, most will leave of their own accord.
Let’s get it done.

Personal responsibility is something American citizens teach their children at a very early age.
So - if they don't speak English and 'flee the scene' you can bet your paycheck that they are here illegally.

I was looking at the Tennessean the other day, and they had a story about another Mexican killing someone on the road in Nashville at the end of September. The scum who wrote the story identified the driver as an unlicensed Mexican national.
I wish there were more who saw it that way. For all our rage at the illegals themselves, the real villians are opportunistic American politicians, Ideologue American judges, and greedy American business people. Until we focus on them, there's not a prayer of solving the problem.
Those American politicans, judges and business people are every bit as guilty of all this bloodshed as the illegals are.
Rather than post these things, lets just post “Another Illegal Kills an American - Number _XX_ in a Series” and have only one post following, saying “ditto”.
It will save a lot of time and server disk space.
We know these things are going to go on and on, and even increase as the number of illegals now passes 38 million on its way to 51% of the population. That’s right - 38 million. We passed that 12 million fiction back in 2004.
Nobody in Washington or in most of the states is going to do anything about it, and the efforts of little towns and counties will not be enough to stop it nor will they be given the enforcement powers to punish it.
Estimates vary, but the number of auto fatalities alone attributable to illegal aliens is between 1000 and 8000 a year, which latter figure is more than TWICE the number of deaths in the entire Iraq/Afghan wars.
Just accept the fact that a lot of you are going to be killed by an illegal alien, and until it hits some of the elites or a few celebrities, nobody is going to give a damn.

That's a very good question. I'm quite sure that if I committed all those crimes in the past year, I'd be in jail.
