Dining facility?We have a very small mess hall...er dining facility. Some years ago, we stopped using trays and now use plates like civilians.
BTW, I met several officers assigned to the 46th Engr Bn which was at Long Binh, Vietnam in '67 - '68. They did a lot of construction work and I think they built most of the roads on post which were constructed of a red, grainy material called laterite. They must have hauled and spread millions of cubic yards of the stuff.
