‘I really, really wish I’d been wearing my leathers. I was wearing a T-shirt because it was so hot. The loss of skin should keep me cooler in the future, but then again the scar tissue may insulate me. Lesson learned. :)’

I bet....(chuckle)

You can always do a ‘Lethal Weapon II” moment with your lady...you know, discussion ‘texture’ an ‘coloration’....LOL!

I have a full set of leathers, and use them on occasion. Until 24 hours or so ago, it was over 90 degrees here in Southern Ohio, so a T shirt was the only way to go.

I’m very glad you are well.

My point was that it doesn’t just affect those who ride. Would you then say that no one can comment on the war, except for soldiers????
I can and will speak on this topic. And I ride. So excuuuuuse me, I guess I can speak now???
Don’t even answer. I don’t want to discuss this any more with you anyway.

‘My point was that it doesn’t just affect those who ride.’

It doesn’t come across that way, but thanks for clarifying it.

“Would you then say that no one can comment on the war, except for soldiers????”

Didn’t say you couldn’t comment.

“I can and will speak on this topic.”

Obviously.

” And I ride.”

Excellent, hope you wear a helmet.

” So excuuuuuse me, I guess I can speak now???”

Only if you keep channeling Steve Martin.
“Don’t even answer.”

Too late.

” I don’t want to discuss this any more with you anyway.”

Find a forum thats not public is my advice.

You were fortunate to have survived that. I just lost a friend to a helmet-less accident last week. His wife is devastated, and I was heartbroken to find out later that he wasn’t wearing a helmet.

(sigh)

I know, i broke my own rule. “don’t make it personal” But it’s still so personal.
I’m nto for governmental interference. Not once did i advocate the gov’t get involved. I’m just asking others to remember what they could be putting others through just so the wind can ruffle through your hair. it’s a special kind of hell.
Ok I’m done.

I understand, and I take no offense at all. AS I said originally, I’m very sorry for your loss.

Have a good weekend.

Worst of all it doesn’t heal at all, ever. You tell ‘em girl, er, lady.

You ride? You ride? OMG, I’d love to see that. Perhaps I can catch a ride sometime?

At the hospital, we refer to them as donorcycles.

Thank you, I appreciate that. And I love to backseat ride, too. Even if it’s way too hot for leathers, I always wear the helmet, sunglasses and gloves.
