A bodega owner was sentenced to federal prison for illegally shuttling more than $1M to Mexico and harboring illegal immigrants. Federal prosecutors said much of the money was earned by Mexican prostitutes smuggled into the US. Jose Luis Notario is the 13th person to be sentenced in a large-scale smuggling and trafficking ring.......Federal agents found families around San Miguel Tenancingo, Mexico, smuggled aged 17 to mid-20s Mexicans into the US to work as prostitutes......then gave their earnings to traffickers, who sent the money back to traffickers' families in Mexico.

Did the judge ask how many SS no's and identitied Jose has?

And how many he created for his ladies?

Did the judge ask to see the several SS cards Jose carries (Judge Judy ALWAYS does this)?

Did the judge ask to see the several credit cards he carries under different names (Judge Judy ALWAYS does this)?

Did the judge check how many times and in how many precincts he (and his ladies) are registered to vote under different names?

Did the judge check all those bank accounts Jose opened under different names?

Did the judge check Jose (and his ladies) multiple welfare checks, UI, Workmen's Comp, SSI disability checks, and all those $3500 EITC refund checks they pocket?

Did the judge demand Western Union and other money transfer outfits be investigated for banking and currency fraud----for illegally converting proceeds from drug deals?

Oh, wait, this is the braindead New Jersey judicial system----the one that let a child rapist go free to kill and torture four students.

Snort----a bunch of know-nothing Machine appointees connected to hyphenated voting blocs, slobbering at the public trough, filling out state pension apps 24/7.

Justice? What justice?

What’s a “bodega”?

A grocery store. I don't know why we have to use a foreign word for it.

We do have a “Criminal Justice System”. It would be nice if the legal citizens had one.

In my neighborhood in Chicago (west of Lincoln Square). They are about on every block and essentially a typical neighborhood grocery store on a much smaller level and caters to hispanic customers with ethnic foods. than corporate chains.

Generally half the store is fruits/veg/meat while the other half is staple items and latin foods. I have found they have great deals on the fruits and vegetables. I refuse to buy meat due to my skepticism of the sanitation at those places. I am going to try to get to one today in order to find Masscarpone cheese that I can't seem to find at Jewel or anywhere else nearby.

A Spanish term meaning a warehouse; especially for the storing of wine usually located on the premises of a winery. Bodegas can also store other alcoholic beverages and spirits.

A bodeguita, a general store in Latin America

A term used in the United States, especially in New York City, to refer to a convenience store.

On every street corner in NYC----main business is converting illegal monies, selling forged citizenship papers, cartel contacts for drug running and dealing. Plus smuggling and trafficking............and other assorted activities.....mostly illegal.
