The more I look at this mateba, the more intrigued I am. I just realized something fascinating about the design. With the barrel at the bottom of the cylinder, the stresses on the top strap are greatly reduced (I think). As I see it, the weakness of the standard revolver in which the top strap becomes elongated from abusive handloads should be about non-existent in the mateba.
