Ive had them both at one point, and frankly, Id rather go backwards and get the P-97. The new model had a lousy trigger compared to the old one, and I am not a fan of light rails.
I agree with you about the P97. It and it’s 9mm counterpart the P95 are Rugers best centerfire autos (IMO). Ruger triggers have always been a crapshoot.
