Pedro Nava has a Dem home page at assembly.ca.gov. And of course the state Rino in Chief signed it.

A law to save a bird too damned stupid to avoid landing on high voltage lines and becoming a french-fried turkey.

This ;aw has not a thing to do with protecting the Condor — it’s all about harassing hunters and other gun owners.

Government of the wealthy Hollywood elite, by the wealthy Hollywood elite, and for the wealthy Hollywood elite.

Benedict Arnold betrayed his cause. Arnold Schwarzenegger has only every had one cause: his own. He fits right in the the people who betrayed McClintock, one of the best men in politics in California.

Replace the word ‘hollywood’ with ‘globalist’ your post and we have a good description of our national rulers.

With all the protections given to animals - when do they have to pay taxes to its government to protect them?

We’ll just pay a little more for them to compensate, I’m sure of that.

He signed the Sierra Club’s top priority bills, too.

signed AB 70 (Jones) Would put flood liability on state and local public entities that participate in the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of a flood control project.

signed AB 233 (Jones) Would improve enforcement of protections against toxic diesel exhaust.

signed AB 1109 (Huffman) Would implement a plan to substantially increase the energy efficiency of lighting products, while reducing toxic and other pollution resulting from electricity generation.

Methinks it had little to do with the bird and a whole lot to do with banning lead ammo.

I love the environment, don't get me wrong. It's just that green is the new red. I'm for opening up the west to homesteading again, Alaska too. Drill for oil up there -- cleanly, though. There should be a law (yes, there should be laws) that says that Kali elites have to put oil drilled inside Californian territories or off the coast of California. No greenie gallons from Saudi Arabia, no ma'am.

It might also have something to do with shutting down all military training in the desert.

They’re exerting their control over a lot of things. This gives them courage to try again, in some other way. It’s called cooking the frog. It’s almost done. Frog is hardly moving.

Nava's bill (Or is it Schwarzenegger's bill now?) is really a ban on all hunting with firearms in the affected areas. The language of the bill specifies that ammo used must have "no lead content". Sec. 3004.5 paragraph (b) of the California Fish and Game Code now reads...
   (b) By July 1, 2008, the commission shall establish, by
regulation, a public process to certify centerfire rifle and pistol
ammunition as nonlead ammunition, and shall define, by regulation,
nonlead ammunition as including only centerfire rifle and pistol
ammunition in which there is no lead content. The commission shall
establish and annually update a list of certified centerfire rifle
and pistol ammunition.
(Emphasis added)
Those who know about ammunition components will tell you that there is no such animal! All ammunition, even "all-copper" ammo, contains some amount of lead. By writing the bill this way, Nava, and now Schwarzenegger, have insured that there will be no hunting with firearms within the following areas: "the department's deer hunting zone A South, but excluding Santa Cruz, Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, and San Joaquin Counties, areas west of Highway 101 within Santa Clara County, and areas between Highway 5 and Highway 99 within Stanislaus, Merced, Madera, Fresno, Kings, Tulare, and Kern Counties, and within deer hunting zones D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, and D13."

This is what we get for trusting RINOs. Remember that when Ahhhnold's good friend Rudy comes a-callin'.
