How about a bill to protect the Californian TAXPAYER?

Sirius ch 144 had some discussion of the micro-stamping bill this evening (NRA News). There is speculation that firearms manufacturers may simply choose to exit the California marketplace for semi-auto handguns. The cost of re-tooling for an unproven (stupid) concept just isn't worth the cost. Many firearms and sporting goods dealers will probably go out of business as their access to permissible merchandise goes away. It will be amusing to see how California law enforcement agencies will react to having no choice of semi-auto handguns when it's time to run another replacement cycle of service weapons.

The lead ammo ban in California will probably lower the cost of ammunition for everyone else. I'm sure the rest of the country will be happy to pick up the slack in sales.

Socialists only care about protecting the interest of the state. Your labor is slowly becoming the sole property of the state. Just look at your paycheck stub. The state owns half of everything you make. Fortunately, you still have to right to leave the state for somewhere less tyrannical. Weigh your options before the burden of taxes leaves you with no means of escape.

The greenies are already gunning (if you’ll pardon the pun) for a statewide ban on lead ammo. They’ve stated this at several meetings of the Fish and Game Commission. In this video...

...a greenie lawyer makes it clear that they want a statewide ban on lead ammo for small mammal, upland game bird, and big game hunting.

It was never about condors. It was always about banning hunting.
