A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak with a couple of Patriot Guard Riders who'd been to the Gathering of Eagles and had personally seen the damage inflicted on The Wall. They told me that there are several names that are almost illegible now.
One of the riders said that the damage is so significant that he believes that they will likely have to replace several of the panels.
