After New Yorkers (and others) became outraged that a California supporter threw a fund-raiser for him asking for donations in the denomination of $9.11, the Giuliani campaign quietly began returning the checks. It's a small gesture..... but it's something. Is Giuliani finally recognizing how offensive it is for him to try to own the September 11 tragedy? Is he taking note that if his home city finishes turning against him, he'll have a hard time convincing people that he has a great mayoral legacy? Does this signify personal growth on his part? Eh, probably not. It's just $9.11, people.
Where did I mention President Bush.... as being conservative..... I think he calls his fiscal accounting methods as 'compassionate' conservatism.
Rudy will treat the borders differently... north or south.. HAha... I keep hearing he is the terror stopper, but other than talk talk talk I see NO experience. There is a world of difference in the mayor's mansion of NYC and the White House of 1600 Penn Ave.

OBVIOUSLY, you have not read the THOUSANDS of posts and stories on FR which point out that Conservatives (REAL ones, not just ones that play one or occasionally dabble in Conservatism) reject RINO-rudy on a HOST of issues, of which ABORTION is just ONE.
Get with REALITY, or change your moniker from "Red in Blue PA", to "RINO Blue in Blue PA".

Sounds like Rudy the creep has done some polling of his own & figured out that a lot of people are turned off by his shameless exploiting of 9/11. This man has to be stopped.

Conservatives have to stop Rudy by lining up behind ONE candidate that can win - otherwise we are doomed!
Rooty keeps tooting himself as the “WOT” candidate.
It is not in America’s best interests to have a president defending and promoting home-grown terrorism on the unborn.
And it is positively nauseating to contemplate Rooty ordering even one brave American soldier into battle to defend his belief in government-sanctioned killing of unborn babies.
Whenever he talks I expect his teeth to shoot out of his mouth.
Keep in mind, dumping on conservatives is the only way the Rooters and their ilk get to feel "superior."
I daresay-----kicking conservatives to the curb is the ONLY way the Tooters get their kicks.
Maybe a 12-step program will help the Tooters get over their inadequacies, and rebuild their self-esteem.

He ran a sanctuary city and fought Pataki’s tax cuts tooth and nail. He sued the federal government, so as to not have to enforce immigration laws. Who are you trying to kid?
Good description! I think that a person's face is a reflection of what goes on in their head - and Rudy just looks plain old mean! He's got this permanent sneer on his face.
I read somewhere that he has been wanting to run for President for most of his life. Just like Bill Clinton, the man would say ANYTHING to get elected. Contrary to what his RINO supporters would have us believe - Rudy's supporters are the one-issue voters - their only issue is the WOT - and I believe all of the other GOP candidates (with the exception of Ron Paul) would be just as strong in that fight.
I have come to the conclusion that the Rudy supporters are really liberals in disguise - this is their new ploy to split our party - it is their only hope of winning. Unfortunately, there seems to be many, even on this site, that are stupid enough to fall for that trick. Shame on them!
Name me one other conservative politician that decreased total abortions by almost 17% over an eight year period? McCain? Romney? Ultra conservative darling, Sam Brownback? Anyone can give lip service and claim to be conservative, but Pro-Choice Giuliani did more in eight years to curb abortion rates, than any conservative Republican has done in the last three decades.

If the WOT is lost, all other issues -abortion, guns, taxes etc, are meaningless.

I would add this to Franklin's quote, the "safety" offered/promised/intimated by RINO-rudy, is PERCEIVED, and no better than that offered/promised/intimated by MUCH better men than him. Men that are 90+ percent CONSERVATIVE, rather than RINO-rudy, who is 90+ percent LIBERAL. We can, and for the sake of the party and the country, MUST do better.
Why would you think that stopping the murder of thousands due to terrorism is more important than calling for the protection of innocent infant life which is being needlessly slaughtered in the MILLIONS?
And why should we give national power to a man who has sh*t on our FREEDOMS, and most specifically, our CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to keep and bear arms?

I lived in NYC the entire time of his ‘tenure’.
I lived there before, during, and after. He was an okay mayor in many ways, but he is completely unacceptable for national office and NOTHING he did in NYC recommends him for that office. Nothing.
Please give me specifics of what, exactly, Rudy did to reduce abortions? I know he says he encouraged adoptions - but I would like to hear some specific facts on how he did that?
Also, I would like specifics from you on how Rudy has promised to be tougher on the WOT than the other GOP candidates (Ron Paul excluded).
He has $16,649,826 cash on hand. Why does he even need more donations?
I do find the symbolism of $9.11 disgusting; but I wouldn’t expect anything more of him anyway.
