Hee hee. And I loved Patrick Stewart's cameo as King Richard....

And for anyone else who was curious about the Galleries of Justice...

Mel Brooks was really funny as the traveling rabbi - Rabbi Tuchman I think it was, in lieu of Friar Tuck. Performing circumcisions on all the bad guys.

In the latest movie version of Robin Hood, made a few years ago in England, Robin brings back a Muslim woman from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Of course she's smarter than all the men in Robin's band of men. There seems to be no end to the ways in which this legend can be bent to suit contemporaries.

Wow, somebody responded to this old thread. Yes, I know the new version of which you speak, made for the BBC. And now there’s a Ridley Scott film coming out with Russell Crowe as Robin Hood, just finished filming this year. Can’t wait to see it, since I’m a big ‘Gladiator’ fan.

I hope they play the story line straight and don't try to update it. I have the The Adventures of Robin Hood by Roger Lancelyn Green. He has written the story of Robin Hood by researching all of the original sources. I hope the movie producers do the same.
