This afternoon [10/18/2007] the editorial desk of Noticiero Digital contacted the news department of Mérida radio station Estudio 102.7 FM, who confirmed the information reported this morning.
They added that the recently inaugurated monument was destroyed by gunfire. The glass monument honoring Argentinian guerilla Ernesto Guevara was not well received by the area's communities, to whom [Che] represented a figure who was totally foreign to its history and values.

It occurred to me that they could really make it a monument to Che by propping it up and pretending it was never destroyed.

Yes, very cool. I was just trying to explain to some younger friends the fine points of Che as an anarchist/communist/butcher. This will help in our next discussion, which will be how Hugo is about to drive Venezuela into abject poverty.

Looks like the Venezuela resisters of totalitarian thugs use more than women’s panties (a reference to the Myramar opponents’ tactics) to express their opposition.
Need to move these people to Portland Oregon, where the IDIOTS on City Council are changing the name of Interstate Avenue to, get this: Hugo Chavez Boulevard
Totally unbelievable...These city council members should be dragged outside, CURB STOMPED, tarred and feathered and shipped to Venezuela!!!
